My wife and I met Tim through a friend of ours whom Tim helped through the home buying process. Our friend’s family has lived in Sun Valley for years, so we paid attention when he recommended Tim.
We are not the easiest clients. We do our homework and take our time making decisions. Tim sent us dozens of homes to consider and probably took us to visit almost that many during our multiple trips to Sun Valley. Born and raised in California, Brent is a surfer at heart, but he also grew up fishing and hunting with his family in the Sierra Mountains. His family had ties to the Wood River Valley and after a few visits, the lure of the Rocky Mountains coxed Brent to load up and move to Idaho in 1989. And he’s never looked back.
Brent has been a licensed realtor in the Wood River Valley for over 20 years and he looks at each real estate transaction as an opportunity to develop new friendships. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Pepperdine University, and a background in residential and commercial construction and design which gives his clients a unique perspective when looking for a new home, vacant land or commercial property.
Brent’s passion for building and design inspired him to start his own construction company in 1985 in Malibu, and he later became a licensed General Contractor in Idaho. He has since learned new building techniques for our unique environment and Brent Diehl Construction continues to build high quality homes and commercial spaces in the Sun Valley area.
Brent is a founding member of the Wood River Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, a volunteer for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Trout Unlimited, Blaine County Schools, Boulder Mountain Tour and he coaches youth athletic teams and ski school.

Spyder was born and raised in the Wood River Valley. His family roots in the valley go back to 1954 when his grandparents moved here for the winter and stayed for the summer. After earning a degree in education from the University of Idaho, Spyder spent a few seasons working on a hotshot crew for the USFS before settling into a teaching position at Ernest Hemingway STEAM School.
The challenge of buying his own home in the valley motivated him to become a licensed agent with the hopes of helping other people find homes in the valley. Born and raised in Southern California, Amy was a successful gymnast and diver. She attended UCLA on a diving scholarship, winning the Pac-10 Title her freshman year. After graduating UCLA with a BA in Sociology, Amy went on to earn her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law and joined the law firm of Booth & Koskoff, where she practiced law for over 15 years.
In 2021, Amy and her husband made the decision to move to the Wood River Valley to raise their twin girls in this wonderful community.
